Exclamation Bilsteins vs. OME rear shocks? input please!

So i figured out what set up im going with on my 06 Grand cherokee!
-Rough Country 2" lift
-Spidertrax 1.5 spacers
-and very soon a new set of tires unfortunate for me i just got new ones a month ago!!

So my question for you guys is: What shocks should i go with?? i know i need them for a better quality ride, and i only plan on getting rear ones. If that would be dumb please let me know!?

Ive heard really good stuff about the bilsteins. But are they 2" longer then orginal shocks?

And i noticed that i can order the OME rear shocks separate from their lift. Since their lift is 2+ inches i figured it would be fine?? and people say the lift rides very well, so im guessing the shocks would be good!

whatcha guys think?

Re: Bilsteins vs. OME rear shocks? input please!

Go with OME, they are 2'' longer and will give you the travel needed to match the lift.
The Bilsteins are great but are stock length which defeats the purpose of lifting it.

Re: Bilsteins vs. OME rear shocks? input please!

IDK if this is relevant but my ZJ has a factory 2" lift from the upcountry pkg. I believe the oem shocks are stiffer and also the sway bars stiffer? that jeep rides and handles great.
My WK also has a 2" lift I think included with the tow pkg and it's not so great (mushy and rollie) Check my sig. below to see what I'm going to do about that.

thanks for the input AcidCold. yeah i heard the OME lift rides really nice too so im assuming they did a good job on their shocks.!
