NHWK05 you should really like this!!!

LOL, I loved mine that was on my XJ, I wanted one for the WK but it sticks out about 8" in front more then a stock bumper.

My ARB on my Xj was about 100 lbs, no winch, winch is another 75 ish lbs depending on the winch.

Re: Check this Serious Brush Guard!!!

Damn. Talk about a FAT ride....you'll be sitting low with stock suspension w/ all that weight. Maybe one day I will want to try the off road mod but for now I'm cool.

Re: Check this Serious Brush Guard!!!

I know it's an old thread, but I have one on my WJ, and I LOVE IT!!!

With the winch it's almost 220lbs though...

Even more of a reason to put the big mean bumper on. As soon as I lift mine, it will be getting one of those bumpers put on, along with a winch.

Re: Check this Serious Brush Guard!!!

ARB quality cannot be disputed - that thing on the WK is UGLY AS HELL. looks much better on some of the Yotas or the ZJ.

I'd much rather go w/ the 4XGuard front skid plate (to protect radiator and other things directly behind the bumper) and keep repairing my stock bumper if need be then ugly up my front end w/ that monstrostiy.

Now if AEV would produce that dam hidden winch mount - that would be SWEEEEET!

Re: Check this Serious Brush Guard!!!

this version looks much better - but not sure if its available or if this is a 1 off. the downside to this is it doesn't seem to be able to mount a winch which almost makes it pointless.

So far RedRocker has the best bumper i have seen for a WK yet

I don't know if you can get it, but it looks like the "Bull Bar" without the headlight protection bars going up from the top.

I don't thing mine looks too bad on the WJ. It took me a little while to get used to how far it sticks out though.

Re: Check this Serious Brush Guard!!!

I would love to have something exactly like this

http://www.lodoffroad.com/xcart/prod...&cat=23&page=1

on my WK! But our only options seem to be bull bars, brush guards, the Matrix, or the ARB. I'm not a big fan of bull bars. I've got a brush guard. I like the Matrix but the price is a little high for the small additions to my $190 bar. And the ARB is like a huge nose, sticks out too far IMO not to mention the added weight and worse approach angle.
