Thanks to tcm glx I was able to buy a sweet custom light bar. I didn't want a huge push bar, Just something to hold some lights. I think it look's great!

I had to modify my tow hook plates in order to keep the tow hooks, I'm assuming his didn't have any?!

I asked my HID guy if he could get me some HID off road lights with a euro beam pattern, He ended up finding the ones I was looking at on ebay.

I paid $140 CAD per light, which IMO is a great deal!

PIAA sells 6" HID lights for $980 each!!!!!!!!!!! now that's crazy!

Well, Enough talk, here's the pics!

I actually did it pretty early this year as I had a couple friends that wanted to take the jeeps out on the trails!

Maybe 6 weeks ago?

I plan to get 2 of those 7" HID Lights and i am going to hide them behind the Grille like a member on JU did. I like to keep the exterior of my WK clean looking, i did plenty of the rugged off road stuff before. They will still work just as well but will be hidden and semi protected.

I hate to kill your plans, But there is no way you're gonna mount these lights behind your grille. They're a pretty deep light with the ballast built into the housing. Maybe another company makes an HID light that's a little slimmer than these ones. Or go with some 100w halogens. Some of those are really slim, But i'm sure you know that since you've had an offroad Jeep before!

I did see a thread on JU that had a couple WK's with them mounted behind the grille.

No pics yet dude, It's been so crappy out. I need to aim the middle one down a notch too, It's a little high.

Soon!
