Do I need a new battery for winch?

I searched around the forum for a question and answer like this but could find one.

I have a Warn 10s winch (10,000lbs) and I'm going to add it to my stock rubicon unlimited. Should I have any concerns about the running it with the stock battery?

Personally I don't know the answer to your question. Be patient. The right guy will show up soon. pretty sure in the 80's the guys were using stock battery, something may have changed with modern tech. What does Warn say?

Sorry was also a reaction that my intro thread introducing myself got zero replies in like 10 days. Not even a "welcome" form a moderator or admin or anything just dead silence. The manual that came with the winch doesn't mention battery requirements unless I missed it. I was more curious what others do if anything.
