Re: Finally installing my OME

how many spacers did you install to level out? jeepinbyal says they're 1/4.. is 1/4 in the front good enough or are you stacking 2 up there?

Re: Finally installing my OME

the strut spacers are 1/4" but they actually will provide a half inch of extra lift up front... I recommend going with 1 set.. you should be sitting level with the OME and the 1 set of strut spacers up front.

doing two will give you an extra inch of lift.. but that will be too much, and require some additional modding in terms of bolt lenthening...PLUS if you wanted 2 sets of strut spacers up front, you would need to cut .5" off a rear 2" poly spacer and stack that in the rear with the OME tio level it out... look at omelet and mr.tosh's build threads for info on this...

I dont think any of that will be necessary for you.. unless you want to higher without going superlift in the future.. for now, the OME HD and one set of strut spacers up front is gonna get you to 3" of lift all around and level. Congrats on the purchase..enjoy it!

can you run the OME springs with stock or Bilstein shocks and struts? or are they not long enough? any disadvantages to doing so? will you get the same lift out of OME springs and stock shocks and struts as opposed to the entire OME setup?

Up front you can go with stock or the Bilstien HD's. In the rear you would want something a little longer. Like the Bilstien 5125's or the MLL.

Re: Finally installing my OME

Ok, I already installed my Daystar lift with bilsteins this summer but want to upgrade to a modified OME lift and need to know what parts will need replacement (again)
