I had great luck out of Cooper mud terrains on my old 99 XJ. I ran 30x9.5 Cooper STT's on stock suspension. They handled good and lasted longer than the BFGs that were on before

2009 WK Laredo, 20% tint on all side windows, 5% on back glass, led backup lights, shorty "cellular style" antenna, pinstriping delete, intake airbox mod, diy tinted tails and 3rd brake light, plasti-dipped emblems, VHT nightshade/painted Stillen like covers, add on factory fog lights.... still stock height....for now.

the wear is nice and even, they aren't cupped or anything like that. im not trying to talk the tires down because they are great tires and like i said before they do last a lot longer than most mt's i just don't see how people get 70k+ miles out of them unless they are going to the threads. maybe it's just PA roads doing the damage on mine...who knows

Backspacing offset? What the hell do I need to know about that, because I don't know...
Please Give as much insight as you can. I have been looking over the forums for the past year and the few questions are the things I want to make sure on. Also I am staying away from spacers because of all the horror stories I have read.
8 inch wide rims would be better but 9 inch will work too.

Stick with 265/70 or 255/75.

5.0 backspacing will be ok, but a little more would be optimal. My wheels have 4.75in. backspacing and I wish they were about a half inch more (5.25).

Why do you want an extra half inch on your backspacing?

Do you or anyone know if I will be able to mount the TPMS on these rims?

I want an extra half inch because it would move my wheels into the wheel well a half inch. As they are now, my rear tires rub on the fender lip. It'll be corrected with a little body trimming (or bumpstop extensions, which I haven't been able to figure out due to my RR rear spacers), but would be much easier to just get a suitable offset for my height. However, with an OME HD, you might have no problems with that, so I don't want to mislead you...

look at goodyear silent armors or duratracs, usually goodyear has a rebate on their tires.

Thought I would post an update I ordered everything yesterday. Here is what I got

The tires were actually lined up next to the shop this morning. I ordered them from Amazon with prime free 2nd day delivery. Looks like they bumped it to next day!
