Getting Ready to Mod my WK

So I have had my WK for a couple years now and I'm just getting around to starting the Mods. I'm looking at going with a 3.5" Rock Krawler Kit, 1.5" Wheel Adapters and 255/75R17's. Does anyone out there know if you can avoid the rubbing with the 1.5" Adapters vs. the 1.25"?

Re: Getting Ready to Mod my WK

the only way to avoid the rubbing with the spacers is to do the pinch weld mod. This includes removing the plastic cover, cutting and bending the pinch weld, and replacing the cover.

im sure there's a write up around here somewhere.

Not entirely correct: My specs: OME Lift, 30 mm spacers (~1.17"), 265/70-17 Cooper Discoverer STT tires. No pinch weld mod. No rubbing at all.
