Going with a 2" lift, what else needs to be done?

I am planing to lift my WJ 2" using Fat Bob's 2" spring and Bilstein 5100 shocks. Is there anything else I will need to do for this lift height? I plan to replace the bar pin with the JKS Bar Pin Eliminators.

What else would be recommended to change or replace when lifting a WJ 2 inches?

your good to go but change change other suspension parts if you want, there not needed. make sure to get an alignment.

Re: Going with a 2" lift, what else needs to be done?

Thanks for the lift info, it has been insightful. I think I am leaning towards the IRO 3" lift with Doetsch shocks, instead of the Fat Bobs springs/Bilstein 5100 shocks. I would like to clear 245/70R17 tires without rubbing.

Will I need to recalibrate my speedometer? Would I have to use a programmer (Superchips) for this?

Has anyone tried the bar pin eliminators? Are they worth installing?

I plan on replacing the sway bar end links front and back, are there any other parts that would be recommended (that are not included inteh IRO 3" lift)?

Re: Going with a 2" lift, what else needs to be done?

I have Bridgestone Dueler A/T's in a 245/70R17 that clear no problem..... that said I am totally for lifting!

You shouldn't need to reprogram the speedometer, assuming my GPS is accurate there is only a 2mph difference at 70mph so I haven't bothered.

If you plan on disconnecting the sway bar for off-roading, I have heard the improved addco sway bar does good things for on-road handling.

same here. no rubbing on stock ride height and minimal speedo diff, its within the 3% max tolerance. Nothing to worry about there.
