Well, I got a little too much speed coasting down a rather large decline on some power line roads near our property up north. Granted it was dark, I allowed the Jeep to gain too much speed while bouncing over some rather large holes on the trail.
Needless to say, the Jeep caught a small amount of air in the rear end, stuffing the rear tires into the fender well. The tire contacted the outside of the quarter panel, ripped out the door seal and bent the pinch weld out.
Unfortunately, this wasn't a big deal until we realized that the paint separated from the quarter in the area the wheel hit.
Fortunately, my best friend and room mate manages a body shop!
Rear quarter has to be repainted, pinch weld needs to be put back into place, and the seal needs to be reinstalled (bought a new Mopar seal).
Moral of the story... extend your damn bumpstops... don't drive like a d-bag after dark down hilly power line roads!
