Angry Help, I don't want an automatic Transfercase!

I am looking into purchasing a 2005 Grand Cherokee, it has a 3.7 V6. The vehicle is a good deal, but the automatic transfer case really grinds my gears since it has the QT I. Is there anyway I can swap the automatic transfer case with a Manuel transfer case from a liberty or a Wrangler? Can I also regear the vehicle and add a locking differential to the rear? I'm new to the WK, I'm used to solid axles and Manuel transfer cases. ( I understand everyone is gonna say just buy a Grand Cherokee with an electronic 4 LOW in a QT II OR QD II, this vehicle is just a good deal at the moment and I need a reliable vehicle )

Maybe look for an older model in good condition that has what you want instead of buying what has really high odds of turning into a money pit given that you appear to lack the knowledge of what could work and what wouldn't.
Or, if you have a local 4wd specialty shop, ask them...
