I was bored and browsing Ebay for 18" jeep wheels and i came across this set. Its AR ATX series Teflon Coated Artillery wheels with Nitto Trail Grapplers in a 285/65/18 E Or a 32" tire. I think these would look AMAZING on a 2" ish Lifted WK.

EDIT the one in the picture is a 305/55/20 they did not use the right picture for the size listed. its a 33" These wheels come in Chrome for the blingy people out there. I wish they came in Silver.

Yes they are, I think the Nitto Trail Grappler MT should be "The Official tire of JEEPGarage.org" Or at least the Nitto Tire brand as a whole since so many street guys have Nitto Tires as well.

Those do look sick as hell but out of good conscious I'd have to say (and it is just hear say) if you don't like road noise than the grappler mt may not be the best choice. Got a buddy that put them on his wife's jeep and he said he can hear her from 10 minutes away! I've never risen on them personally but has anyone else heard of that?? Oh well either way, like I tell my customers: "they put the radio within arms reach for a reason."

I think they only look good on an 18 or 20" rim size. The 17s look too squished. If i ever did this combo it would be a 295/55/20 (32) on OME lift or the same size tire and wheel on a 2012 Ram 1500 or F150 with a leveling kit.

Sdalz - These are the TRAIL Grapplers, NOT the MUD Grapplers! The Muds are ridiculously loud and obnoxious. I have the Trails and although they do have a hum to them they are the quietest M/T tire I have ever ran. They role very smooth and took no weight to balance. They are Awesome off road and have never failed to get me over or through any obstacle. With their construction they are practically bullet proof! They are an E tire so they are a little stiff which is great for on road handling and they are fine for off road after a little air down. They are perfect for our heavy beasts. I had KM2 before these and the Nitto Trail Grapplers are superior in every way.

NHWK05 - If it is looks you are going for a bigger wheel would be nice, but if you want off road performance stick to a 17". The larger the wheel the less tire which means less tire flex and traction when you need it. You have to air these things down to make it a configurable ride off road. And as I said above they are a stiff tire, so if you don't air down you will not have the greatest traction which will leave you spinning and getting nowhere. On road a 20" wheel will not provide as comfortable of a ride as a 17" will. Just my opinion, do what you wish. It's your ride! It will look awesome no matter what.

Thanks for the info Om. This is nothing that will be happening in my foreseeable future just a dream. I'm done wheeling. I had a 6" lift and 315/75/16 cooper STTs on moabs on my old xj. I used to wheel those at 10 psi load range D.

IF, I ever lift my wk it will be a medium duty OME lift and res with either 17" pintlers or 20" reps or these wheels in a 20" with trail grapplers for tires. It would be purely a mall crawler or weekend camp use at that point and I'd have a DD. But again this is a dream. I could leave it stock and get my dream 3am 15oo outdoorsman edition with a hemi.
