Re: Lift help

Hope I'm not hi-jacking this, but I don't see the point in starting a new thread to ask essentially the same thing.

I've been racking my brain about what to do with my WK, so I was hoping to get some help with the scenarios I'm kicking around...

I love how the 285's look with the OME, the squatty look is so sick; but I don't have the money for all that, well, I do, but I'm also trying to buy a house in the fall and feel like thats more important. So here's my options at this point:

- RRO 2.25 with 1.5 spridertrax and 265/70/17 Cooper ATP's and adding Bilsteins soon after
- No lift, pinch weld, pintlers or MR1's, same tires, again adding bilsteins.
- Save up till next spring and do the OME with 285's

I think the 265's with no lift will accomplish that squatty look I like, but I can't decide.

I won't be doing any crazy wheeling, just some fairly rough trails to go fishing and hunting and getting to some trails to hike and all that kinda stuff. It's my DD also...

Thanks in advance!

Just so you know, you can fit 285/70/17 on the RRO lift.

Re: Lift help

Yes with stock rims and spacers (and bilstiens). Def need the pinch weld but they will fit. I will also highly, highly recommend picking up a set of the RRO UCA's.

Thanks a lot. Your a big help. My priorities have recently changed with probably getting engaged soon and looking at houses, but i still really wanna get my wk off the ground a little and have a more aggressive look. Plus the ground clearance will help during hunting season. Looks like i have some decisions to make

I think it's possible. I recall someone running 16 inch cragers at some point. I also recall they won't fit on all models maybe just 05's but I am not positive.

Cool, I'll just have to test it out I guess. 16inch tires are so much cheaper, haha

Re: The Official Lifted WK Thread

Does anyone know if you can run a Daystar 2" spacer lift AND an OME 2" HD suspension lift together? I've currently got the OME HD 2" lift, 3/8" front strut spacers, the pinch weld mod done, 1.5" spacers and 265/70/17's and need just a little more clearance to have my wheels clear the front fender wells when I bottom out.

You certainly can but you are going to give yourself nothing but problems if you do.

That OME HD lift nets you 3 inches, you should be able to clear 285/70/17 without any problems. What are your hub to fender measurements?
