Yup, gotta separate the ball joint and then compress the strut so you can fit the spacers on either end of the coilspring. This was not my first time doing suspension work, I have done a full 6 inch suspension lift before. And my buddy helped me, so four hours was pretty quick I guess, we were drinking and messing around too, prob could have finished quicker if we rushed. The rear was so much easier though, just drop the axle one side at a time and insert spacers, that took us all of 15 minutes for the entire rear section. PM me with any other questions.
