Lift Installed....Tires on.

I spent about 4 hours putting in a Daystar 2" suspension lift and then threw Nitto TerraGrappler AT's all around on the stock wheel. 265/70/17. I am uploading photos now. I had to cut down the bolt on the upper ball joint so the tires wouldn't rub against it. I also need to trim the whell well as I have slight rubbing when I turn the wheel tot he extreme left or right, not hard, just another job to do. Let me know what you guys think, it was actually pretty easy, just took my time and have a few beers.

Re: Lift Installed....Tires on.

Drives great, sits about 3.5 inches higher, great stance, so much more traction on the road. Those SR-A's are horrible tires. Its been snowy, and I have had 0 trouble. I am ready for a trip up to Mount Snow next storm, love snowboarding. I had been toying with street vs. of road look, and I had to go back to off-road. I had a wrangler that weas lifted when I was in college.

Re: Lift Installed....Tires on.

Looks pretty good!!! I'm not one for lifting anything, but that's the right amount of lift for sure!

Re: Lift Installed....Tires on.

Yeah, Longmeadow is right outside of Springfield. I have always preferred the lifted off road jeeps more than the street look, but it all just boils down to personal preference. Street jeeps are still Jeeps, super bad ass and still the best vehicle on the road!
