What's up guys! Taxes are in and I'm looking to spend! I'm trying to figure out the combo of shtuff to get. Looking into this setup:

*OME HD Lift
*Moto Metal Rims
*Duratrac Tires
*1.5 Spacers

I can't find any good info on a good combo of size, if they work and if there are any pitfalls as I'm thinking 265/70/17, but possibly 285/70/17.

Any opinions out there? Thanks!!

Yo!

We are in the exact same situation....

I am looking at:

*OME MD Lift -(why you going HD?)
*Pro Comp 17" rims
*BFG T/A KO tires

Not sure on spacers... do you think I need them? I am also doing same size tires you are doing : 265/70/R17. I thought about the 285... but don't need to sacrifice any more mileage....

I hear ya on the mileage. From browsing, i see most ppl going with 265, but others mentioned 285 - didnt know if there is an opinion out there. Looks like we may not need spacers with the 265's. BTW - i was going to go with the HD due to other reviews saying a little higher lift, even after some wear-in.

with any tires bigger then stock (especially that size), you are defiantly going to get some rub. unless you get some wheel spacers or a pinch weld. depends how much money your willing to spend.

i did spacers because it eliminates any rubbing whatsoever (for the most part), and it looks beefy! it is also the pricier option.

Although i am selling mine for a good deal, so its up to you guys to check them out.

Gotcha. Have you read anywhere that the ride is any rougher with the HD? I am riding stock right now...and heard OME are a massive upgrade in ride quality. But I am on road about 95% of the time... and def don;t need some crazy off road susp. What you think?
Also just to clarify for you guys because ive done LOTS of research on this lift.
The HD set up has been told to ride alot better, and yes give a little more ground clearance.

This is a very good lift to go with! and you wont be disappointed.

PM Micallef for info. he has the beautiful HD setup
