Yeah the made the decision for me! That is hot. Is the super lift a 4 inch lift? Who (what company) makes the best 2/2.5 inch lift and what else will I need?

Yea....and they look so stupid. If you put rims on a jeep that's NOT a SRT8 you would be what's considered a ratard. ..Like rain man.

I agree. Non OEM or OEM Spec'd wheels on any Jeep doesn't look good to me at all. Unless they are offroad wheels. That's ok to me.

Re: Lifted jeep on 22s or 20s Options. OPINIONS and Pictures PLEASE

It is a 4" Superlift. It is designed to work with the OEM front struts and upper control arms(UCA), but I augmented it with Bilstein HD front shocks and Jeepin' By Al's UCAs. If you wanna go that route, a 4" Superlift for a 2WD at 4Wheel Parts is currently on sale for $1,753.19 from $1,947.99. Dunno if you have one in your area, but if you do they sometimes offer free installation if you purchase from them and the warranty from Superlift is only valid if an ASE certified technician installs it. As for tires, going by what you said in your first post, BFG TA/KOhttp://www.4wheelparts.com/Tires/LT2...&t_pn=BFG30710 would be a good all terrain tire especially due to the wide range of sizes. Do not go by my set up unless you want to put up with wheel spacers. Try to find a wheel that is between a 4" to 5" backspace if you are still looking to do a 20" wheel and a 285/55R20 BFG TA/KO. As for 22s, might need to research this thing http://www.tuningmag.net/?name=jeep-...seder-breitbau. However, I believe if you wanna run 20s or 22s on a 2" lift, you will probably need to run low profile tires.

Thanks I appriciate all the help. I am going to get the lift very soon so Im researching it because there are so many options. 2for3 has the OEM, someone else has rustys, or skyjacker, rough country or daystar. Some say they require new struts some dont. I have no clue, all I do know is that 4wheel parts quoted me 1000 for the install.

And then I see that there is a 3 inch lift lol

I picked up my OME lift from jeepinbyal.com. It was $760 + $53 shipping and showed up in less than a week. A good shop would charge you only r&r front and rear springs, because that's all the are doing with the OME. You need to take the front struts out to r&r the front springs and you need to remove the rear shocks to pull the rear springs. I would check other shops before giving your $1k to do the swap. Even an independent shop shouldn't charge over $500. With the right tools, it's a 3-4 hour job. My buddy owns a repair shop and I'll be installing my own at his shop.

Good Luck!

Ok so the oem set swap is out of the question. I dont do any wheeling and i dont plan on doing any major off roading. Im doing it for 75% for looks and 25% functionality. Now if I had a 4x4 Wk I would go with the 4 inch lift.

Re: Lifted jeep on 22s or 20s Options. OPINIONS and Pictures PLEASE

I am Deff a fan of stock Jeep wheels on 99% of jeeps. I rarely see any after market wheel that i like on a WK or any jeep but i would never call anyone stupid or a retard for putting non oem wheels on a jeep.

My personal dream is SRT8 reps in 20x9 with BFG ats and a lift.
