I found me a good deal on some tires so I had to buy them 255 75 17 bfg mud terrain and rims off the rubicon $500 with 80% left. will I need spacers with the old man emu hd also will I need to do anything else to make them not rub or any thing.

They will only rub at the very last turn of the wheel right when you hear the power steering pump strain the engine. You do not need spacers at all. Not at all. That's only if you are not afraid to cut the bolt. I wasn't afraid. I cut the mother. Lol.

The WK looks so much better with all of the tire and wheel inside the wheel well. You will love those tires. I do. I have almost 3,000 miles on mine without signs of wear. That could be because I don't take turn fast. And the tires have a hard long lasting tread.

A friend of mine has over 70,000 miles on his. Look:

Also, you have the 05 WK. The JK Moab wheels will not hit your calipers. You're in good shape bud.

yeah that was the thing i want to sell rims and get some black steal rims or i will have to use spacers till i get new rims

The more offset with those tires, the more you are going to hit the pinch weld.

what is the best rim set up for that size of a tire then? and is there any where that shows how to cut the bolt?

I'm not sure how much offset will cause the tire to hit the pinch. But.....I don't have spacers and the tire is really close to the pinch but it's clear that it will never hit it.

Now I will admit that I hit it once on the driver side when turning right with the tire compressed. It barley touched it though. I'll take pictures. I have tire marks inside too that I will take pictures of where I made it rub on purpose so that I would know my limits. I'll show you tomorrow.

As for cutting the bolt most use a hacksaw. We used air tools. My mechanic said cutting the "hex" part of the bolt has never stopped him from removing the nut before. So I said to hell with it.

This is what I did. Make your own decisions. Hope I helped.
