Re: Lifts and tire size thread :)

I am real interested in the Rock Krawler 3.5" x Factor lift. Is this lift a suspension lift or just a body lift? I would like a high ride to increase my under body clearance when off road.

im like 99 percent sure they don't make body lifts for our jeeps since there uni bodys so that would make it a suspension lift

Re: Lifts and tire size thread :)

Thanks for the response as you can tell I am a rookie Jeep modifier. I was wondering what lift anyone here would recommend to level out the truck and gain 2-3" without losing any quality to the ride and handling. Ive also read here that i may want to add wheel spacers to widen the stance after i lift it so it handles better. Im real open for ideas.

it all depends on tire size and what not..... that you want to run then you can decide how much you need to lift it to fit that tire

Re: Lifts and tire size thread :)

I want to run 31" tires with 17" wheels. I was planning on trying to get the Bridgestone a/t's, I had them on my last truck and loved them. I know width is a factor too. I would prefer to not have to modify anything in the wheel well as well as not really lose as much MPG by going with a wider tire. Any suggestions for specific tire dims as well as which lift to go with? Thanks!!!

Re: Lifts and tire size thread :)

I am torn between the Rough country and the Rocky Road lift. I would like to keep as much of a stock ride as possible. Decisions decisions....
