Thanks and I hear ya. Even once I ordered mine it seemed like eternity before it arrived. Then I still had to put it in. My advice is to study up and learn everything you can about the install while you wait.

Thanks, dude! I was thinking about the transformation while I was updating my build thread - so far so good! Now I feel like I've just begun.
Mods, man, they're addictive.

Re: Milton's build thread

NICE JOB! look clean dude, i like the bedliner idea on the rear pad and the hitch trim. thought about doing the door moldings? mine are fading so this gives me a nice idea.

hows the tires holding up? any rubbing when you got stuck in that wash out?

Tires are holding up very well. No rubbing on that washout - I'm sure I've had some rubbing here and there while wheeling but I've really only noticed on the front driver p/w slight rub in reverse locked to the left.

Re: Milton's build thread

Great looking Jeep and Nice build. Ive been wanting to see some experience with the SCT on a 4.7 and some actual improvements from things besides butt dyno.

How do you like those GY authority tires. They look sweet.

I got the same front stock steel skid plate for J4J for my WK. Only thing i did different (because its baffels me that its designed this way on a JEEP) is a had a sheet metal shop weld a plate over the hole under the differential. It makes no sense to have a steel skid that is supposed to protect and yet it leaves one of the most vulnerable parts (an aluminum diff cover) exposed to potential damage. It cost me $20 to have it filled in and now its protected on my stock WK (more vulnerable since its not being lifted)

Re: Milton's build thread

Hey looks great!

I need to get some of that bed liner spray and fix my rear bumper + paint the front bumper. Jeep is black anyway so it wouldnt change it too much.

Yeah - it does a great job bringing any faded black trim back to life.
