My lady friend & I want to be able to camp inside the new Grand Cherokee (without a sunroof). We're picturing a couple well-stocked coolers in the front & a nice queen size air mattress in the back. Seems everything would work perfectly except for the fact we'll need some ventilation... Of course there's always the car's own climate control, but not enough if we smoke, and it stops being an option if we go to sleep. So... what kind of solutions do you guys have for camping inside a Jeep?
I've seen the MagnaScreen - that would've probably been great, except that company went out of business a couple years ago
And SkeeterBeater (Skeeter Beater |
) seemed like it might be ok but for a generic product that might not fit & has a long return process, $50+shipping is steep! Is there a solution anybody here has come up with? Maybe there's a product by Jeep? Some sort of rear door cover net? I've seen some DIY solutions too but they all seem kinda tough to do. I'm concerned about the smooth material on the sides of the doors, thinking they may be thick plastic and not magnetic at all... Any ideas?
