I'm in Northwest Ohio and am looking for a shop to install the RRO lift kit.
I was curious what shop you use and if you recommend them.

Re: New RRO leveling kit, Done the right way!!!

i just installed a set of 2014 Rubicon take off's on my wife's silver 2012 GC. Don't want to go with the 2.5" lift but could use a bit more room in the front, have any of you done this setup with Rubicon take off's? I also will be adding a set of spacers asap had to grind on the break pad bracket to clear the rims in the front.I would also like to pick up a set of Mopar Rock Rails with step bar in the future.

They mentioned no problems with the install. On the 20 minute drive home my ride was nice and smooth just like before. I drove onto a dirt path to test the bounce and everything seemed to ride like before.
Ground clearance: in my level garage is 10-1/2 in the front and about 9-1/2 in the center.
Rear measurement from ground to fender: 34-1/2 inches
Front measurement from ground to fender: went from 33in to 34-5/8
On level ground my jeep appears to be sitting perfectly level. I will report back next time I have the jeep loaded down. Still debating between a yakima windjammer or the fairing. Here ya go! before then after!
Looks spot on great job.

I know the picture quality is not great buy here she is..

I plan on blacking out the grill and the chrome down the side next and then adding a leveling kit to bring the front up a tad.
I would also like to find a deal on a set of Mopar Rock sliders, if their is such a thing as a deal

Re: New RRO leveling kit, Done the right way!!!

I got some new tires the other day...I went a little bit bigger. Goodyear Wrangler Dura Trac 265/65/18. Do they ever look great with my Bushwacker flares and Pro Comp wheels.

But the larger tires accentuates the look of the rear sitting slightly lower than the front. Looks like I need to bump the rear up after all. Is Daystar the ticket or is there a better company out there who make rear coil spring spacers?

BTW...I am very happy with the Dura Tracs. They look aggressive but are surprisingly quiet for a mud tire, and handle more light a light truck or even a car tire.

I cut the the rear of my RRO lift kit to 3/4" and used it as I liked th
I just want to make sure I am 100% clear on this...

The coil spacers sit on top of both the TJ and WK2...correct?

If I am looking at the pics correctly in post 53 of this thread, nasmith342 has them on the bottom...which is not correct? I am going to lift my rear .75 and I want to make sure I do it right.

Thanks!

Re: New RRO leveling kit, Done the right way!!!

The 3/4" or .75 spacer is for a 1997-2006 Jeep TJ front top coil spring spacer, but you will use it in the back of the Grand Cherokee on the Lower control arm. Jack or lift the GC take off the rear tire pull the rear spring, place the spacer on the Lower Control Arm put the spring back ,,, viola'.
So the spring sits on the spacer, which sits in the lower control arm. Got it? the lower control arm and the spring are the bread and the spacer is the meat in between.

Yup...got it! Thanks for the clarification. I missed the word "perch" in your previous post, and thought it was "Don't confuse it with placing it on the bottom rear of the spring ... to achieve the lift on your GC."

Crystal clear, my friend! Much appreciated!

Now I want a sandwich...

Re: New RRO leveling kit, Done the right way!!!

Can anyone with the knowledge, confirm that these are the correct .75" spacers to use for the rear, if going that route?
