Does anyone make a small spacer lift for the front that will raise it a bit without making it exactly level? I prefer to keep a little bit of rake in the stance. That way the rear doesn't look like it is sagging when I have a load in the cargo area and some bikes on the hitch rack.

Ordered the RRO kit, delivering tomorrow, getting installed on Saturday AM. Thanks everyone for the advice! I will post some reviews of the way it rides, etc.

Anyone have experience with tire size you can fit on 17" rims. I'm not too interested in upgrading to 18" rims, just a slight upgrade with more aggressive tread.

Just got the RRO leveling kit on, looks great. Measured and the front is .5" lower than the rear, so leaves a little room for loading stuff in the back.

I still have the 17's and 245 stock tires, so surfing Ebay right now for some JK 18" rims and probably going with 265/65/18's in a BFG Rugged Terrain.

Main reason being I'm not a huge fan of the look of the 17's, so if I'm buying new tires, may as well get wheels I like.

Edited to add: It does ride slightly rougher on bumps, but nothing awful.

I notice this as well but this doesn't make sense to me. This just raises the body off the strut so I don't understand why it would make the spring tighter.

Finally got the leveling kit installed. It was pretty tough finding a place in Seattle to do it. Well worth it though. Crappy cell phone pics, left is pre-kit and right is post-kit. Sits perfectly level, limited driving experience is solid.

Next stop, tires... but that may be a while.
looking good..... amazing what 1.75 inch can do .....

Yes, it takes about 2 hours if you dont have a helper. Its pretty easy, and self explanitory if you have mechanical knowledge. Thanks to Mac Daddy for giving me some useful info about spacing the front another 1/4".
I used the leveling kit up front (not the lift kit) and was fabricating my rear, when I ran out of acetylene. I had a tire appt in 2 hrs so i came up with a quick/temporary fix, but these would work for long term use too (i just want more lift in the rear so im going to finish making my kit). I used TJ 3/4" coil spring spacers in the rear. The stock WK2 lower control arm spring perch fits perfectly into the spacer and the spacer fits perfectly into the LCA spring perch hole. This gave me enough lift front and rear to fit 255/80/17 BFG KM2's (33.06x10.08x17) with a unique 297 steel wheel with a 4.5" of backspace. Minor fender trimming was required to fit these (cut and fold the pinch welds and felt between the tire and the doors. The 265/70/17 (32.01x11.24x17) fit fine though without trimming. pics are attached of the rear spacers, pinch weld mod, and jeep after lift and tires.

Thanks! After two days of driving, no noticable change in drive quality.

I didn't have the tools or space needed to try a DIY. The shop had quite a bit of trouble doing the install, per them the holes for several of the bolts were misaligned by a couple of mm and needed a bit of machining to fix... they also had never seen a kit like that and the owner of the shop drives a 2002 GC so it took them an entire day and the start of a next. Thankfully they only charged me for the two hours of labor quoted and alignment.
I would suppose it totally depends on level of experience. I know a few people on here have said they did it at home with the help of another saavy person and the proper equipment while other noobs like myself would have broken something for sure.

Wow, sounds to me like you got real lucky? Or maybe not, so far as the install and fit for the kit the hardest time was the front left (driver side) due to the shorter axle assembly. I would recheck the work as to why they had to enlarge bolt holes to make it fit? That is definetly not cool, my kit fit perfect!

Thanks!!! this is how it should look from the factory! here are some more pics for anyone wondering about clearances and fender-well room.

Who's 3/4" coil spring spacers did you use?
Daystar ($40 from 4wheel parts) so overall the total lift cost me $129 for the front RRO level kit and $40 for the rear spacer.

Yes it should be a 97-06 rear TJ coil spacer, they sit on top of the TJ coils to provide the lift. Don't confuse it with placing it on the bottom rear of the spring perch to achieve the lift on your GC. "Daystar" "Rough Country" and "OLD Man EMU" all make the TJ coil spacers.
I cut the the rear of my RRO lift kit to 3/4" and used it as I liked the fact that it's secured with a bolt through spacer to keep it in place in the LCA. I don't know what kind of wheeling you do, if any, but I think the TJ spacer may just be a quick fix to acheive the lift. The RRO Lift Kit addresses this by making sure the spring is maintained in it's proper position by placing a "keyway" on the spacer locking the spring into place.
Good luck and if you need anymore help just ask.

I just want to make sure I am 100% clear on this...

The coil spacers sit on top of both the TJ and WK2...correct?

If I am looking at the pics correctly in post 53 of this thread, nasmith342 has them on the bottom...which is not correct? I am going to lift my rear .75 and I want to make sure I do it right.

Thanks!

Got my RRO leveling lift on a couple weeks ago... just ordered:
(5) 265/70/17 BFG Rugged Terrains
Tow hooks, front and t-case skid plates (finally).
Soon to be next: Fuel tank skids, and either Aero crossbars or some type of basket, haven't decided.
Will post pics when I get the new rubber on. Went with these after A LOT of looking. Narrowed down to Firestone Destination A/T's, Duratracs, or these. Went with these as I'll admit 95% I'm onroad, and 5% on the farm, so the BFG RT's should look mean but play nice on the street. Who knows what they'll do offroad, but not a big concern. :)

Any word? Did these tires fit?

Well that would be entirely based upon a few variables, such did the lift cause any damage covered by the warranty, if the answer is no, then your dealer should cover what if any, warranty issue that arises. On the the other hand if your dealer says the the damage was caused by the lift and that it's not covered then you have to prove that the lift didn't cause the damage. Speaking realistically I've never had any issues with my local dealer with any of my vehicles and I have modified all of them. My latest issue was when my "set pin" for the the third member let loose in my 06 TJ that's got a 4" pro-comp lift and 35's underneath and they repaired it under warranty coverage.

You're only lifting 2.5" which is within factory specs of what the Quadralift does anyway, so what type of problems are they referring to? If you were talking 6" of lift with major changes to driveshaft angles, CV joints, etc. that would be one thing. I lifted mine anticipating that it could possibly put more wear and tear on front suspension components but I'm not sure about "all types of problems." Did they elaborate?
People have been lifting full time 4wd Grand Cherokees, Land Rovers, and other vehicles for years.
