Re: New RRO leveling kit, Done the right way!!!

Nice!! About to buy a RR leveling kit for my '11 WK2 QT1.

Does it change the tire size that will fit? What size does everyone think is most reasonable?? I would be more than happy to stick with stock size (245/75/17) but if I could upgrade, would be nice.

Thanks!

I was rubbing but now its fine. I didn't go bigger but they stick out. I think they said you can fit 32s.

4th Chereokee great job. I would like to do the same, what lift and tires are you running now. I would like add bigger off-road tires (Nitto Trails) to my 2012 WK2 but want to keep it simple. Any suggestions? Thanks

Are you meaning to ask me? Just making sure since he quoted my pic. It looks like he is stock.

Wow, 4th Cherokee I like your new shoes for spring too. What size are those wheels (offsets ?) and tires? Have you notice any issues at all with the RRO leveling kit? Did you have to reline the headlights, stuff like that?
Thanks.

Wheel 20x9 36+ tires 285/50/20

I've had no unexpected issues, rides like stock.

Re: New RRO leveling kit, Done the right way!!!

Hello all, leveling kit works great!! I am considering one but have a couple of questions. I'm sure they are answered somewhere in the forum, but thought I'd give this thread a try.
1. Where to get it installed? I know it's not too difficult to do yourself, but I don't have a driveway or flat surface, the tools, or really the time. We have a couple of places I saw in Seattle, but does it matter if the dealer does it? (I know the dealer prices are an arm and a leg).

2. Any experience with warrenty issues? I am not so much worried about the Chrysler factory warrenty, more the extended warrenty that I am covered by. The value of an extended warrenty is debatable, I know, but thats the type of person I am. If the kit will put the warrenty at risk, I'd rather forgoe it alltogether.

Thanks!

In my experience you'd be hard pressed to find a dealer that would even install the leveling kit, around here anyway.

If you call RRO, they should be willing to help you find a place that will install it.

I've also seen some local alignment shops willing to do it (not chain places like Firestone), and auto accessory places which look like the cater to ricers often put on lifts as well.

Re: New RRO leveling kit, Done the right way!!!

Does anyone make a small spacer lift for the front that will raise it a bit without making it exactly level? I prefer to keep a little bit of rake in the stance. That way the rear doesn't look like it is sagging when I have a load in the cargo area and some bikes on the hitch rack.

Thanks! Thats a good idea calling RRO, may try that. There are a few places in the Seattle suburbs that may do it as well.

My main concern is my warranty, but my understanding is that if it is not a suspension related issue it should be ok.... should be. Anyone have any experience?
