You might just need to find the right dealer. Mine specializes in off road jeeps. There are probably 20 wranglers on the lot brand new already lifted with wenches, lifts, and big tires on it. My wk2 above was in the showroom like that minus the level.

Re: New RRO leveling kit, Done the right way!!!

Ordered the RRO kit, delivering tomorrow, getting installed on Saturday AM. Thanks everyone for the advice! I will post some reviews of the way it rides, etc.

Anyone have experience with tire size you can fit on 17" rims. I'm not too interested in upgrading to 18" rims, just a slight upgrade with more aggressive tread.

Re: New RRO leveling kit, Done the right way!!!

Just got the RRO leveling kit on, looks great. Measured and the front is .5" lower than the rear, so leaves a little room for loading stuff in the back.

I still have the 17's and 245 stock tires, so surfing Ebay right now for some JK 18" rims and probably going with 265/65/18's in a BFG Rugged Terrain.

Main reason being I'm not a huge fan of the look of the 17's, so if I'm buying new tires, may as well get wheels I like.

Edited to add: It does ride slightly rougher on bumps, but nothing awful.

I notice this as well but this doesn't make sense to me. This just raises the body off the strut so I don't understand why it would make the spring tighter.

Nice Rig! What type/size wheels & tires are you running? What's the backspacing on those wheels and are you using spacers?

Thanks

Thanks. Those are Mickey Thompson special edition wheels -12 offset so no spacers. They are 17" and the tires are stock size. Before I got the level that is all I could fit since they stuck out from the fender a good inch. I could probably go one size higher now but I'm fine with it how it is.

Re: New RRO leveling kit, Done the right way!!!

Finally got the leveling kit installed. It was pretty tough finding a place in Seattle to do it. Well worth it though. Crappy cell phone pics, left is pre-kit and right is post-kit. Sits perfectly level, limited driving experience is solid.

Next stop, tires... but that may be a while.

that does make a positive difference! looks great, i'm also curious of the DIY were there any surprizes in installation.. looks like the only caveat would be shortening the bolt lengths so they don't contact the set above.
