Question Off Road and HID conversion

I have a question for all of those that have converted to HID and have off road builds.
With the HID ballasts is there any worries with them mounted lower and going through mud and water? Where did you all install the boxes at if so? I recently installed fogs and 3000K HID's and was wondering if I need to mount them higher...

Re: Off Road and HID conversion

Hey Mate, the better kits the ballasts are in Ip68 casings, and have waterproof connectors, so you should be right. Just install them behind the bumper where they wont be in danger of a direct hit.
