Re: Off Road Lights

In Russia, tank T-80 lights are very popular. Their glass and the body can withstand shock at impact of log.

HID upgrade is possible also.

You can run them down the driver side rubber on top. It goes all the way into the engine bay. I don't have a pic off hand cuz I'm on my phone, but search for "Coops Silver Surfer build" thread. You'll see what I did there. Lemme know if you have questions.

Re: Off Road Lights

Bumpin this thread up: got some money for XMAS and it's time to add to the roof. Rola is on order - i'm looking to throw 2-4 spot HID's up top/front and maybe the LED Dually's for rear. Does anyone have any options for HID SPOT lights, while trying to keep it affordable?

I started looking into these - Eagle Eyes

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!!! Nice J!!!

I LOVE my D2s and also my PIAA 520 ATPs. Great lights. Those eagle eyes look sweet too. No idea about them at all though. Gonna look into them. I know of some super sic deals coming up in Feb if you can hold out a wee bit. You got the Rola coming!!! You gonna mount it more lower profile like most of us? Also, for the Duallys, which light pattern you looking for?

Re: Off Road Lights

WADDUP Coop! YES - finally getting a nice rack, no offense GF I'll be doing as low of a mounting profile as i can - gotta sneak under that garage door and not look like a mobile tower driving down the road.

For lights:
I know i want a spot pattern all around - i need to see as far as i can. I might get a 20" rigid down the road, to get more of a driving pattern. For rears (D2's or Duallys) i "think" id like a driving pattern in the back. I dont necessarily need to see far, but just to see more What are these sic deals you speak of? *Ears went up*
I looked at KC and Hella and those HID spots seems to be some $$$$$. The Eagle Eyes looked a little cheaper. Now, i dont want to cheap out here, but anything that's 80% less than it's competition, i have to look at I havent really heard of them, so if anyone has HID spot beams - please let me know some feedback - thanks!!

Re: Off Road Lights

Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii iiiiiiiice!!! Just do the same as we all did and mount the hardware upside down. Easy and looks smooth like butta!

Sweet good deal! Id say the PIAA 520 ATPs on the front for distance, D2s on the rola for a lil distance and over all width and great combo w the PIAAs

I want a 20" too at some point!! haha

The rear I would even say eff the duallys and get the Rigid Industries SR 6" hybrid flood for the rear. I would have but I already have the Duallys....just changed the lens. Well see how the diffused looks!

Anyways, that's just my opinion but check it all out. I wouldnt go cheaper for any reason cuz you may end up replacing them. But then again dont spend ALL the money yet!

Feb is gonna be a great month for deals from a certain website. Can't tell you just yet, but be a little patient and TRUST ME on this! Patience grasshoppaaaaaaa haha

Re: Off Road Lights

DO IT!!! I want one. More lumens and lower profile. I kinda don't like the mickey mouse ears look I have in the rear at the moment. Well see how them new lenses look though! I am def in love w that 6" SR light bar. Looks smooth and have the exact kinda light were looking for!

Yea patience is very hard to have...I know, I have very little!!! Just trust me on this! Bday month coming up woot!!!
