Re: OME & Spacers - opinions/feedback?

I don't know of any front spacers that can be trimmed.. I'm running two .50" spacers up front for an added inch over the HD without issue.

Re: OME & Spacers - opinions/feedback?

Im just referring to what Lifted_Up did here:
http://www.jeepsunlimited.com/forums...ht=ome+spacers
But you're probably right, it might be easier/ less costly to do what you did.

Re: OME & Spacers - opinions/feedback?

That's right I forgot Lifted used an old RRO spacer chopped down up front. You can go that route or do like Omelet and myself did and do the two .50" spacers.

Re: OME & Spacers - opinions/feedback?

mrtosh, yeah i was thinking of the RR route just because I have them already. But the two .5" spacers seems alot easier

Thats a great write-up, and I think will probably be doing that as soon as we get a warm day here in Boulder. However, I'm still thinking about stacking springs and spacers (unrelated to my rear fender rubbing). Thanks for the info though.

Re: OME & Spacers - opinions/feedback?

I hacked a rear set of spacer from a Rock Krawler lift and added them to my OME coils.

No bump stops for now.

Sick! Are you sure thats not a Rocky Road spacer? Looks like it. But anyway, why did you chop it? Would the whole spacer have worked?
Have you run into any problems with it?

It from the RK lift but RRO use the same rear spacer.

I chopped it down from 2" to 1.5" to prevent to much lift and stress on suspension.

0 problems. Even without bump stops. I don't see anymore offroading in the future. Just speed. Trying to talk my girlfriend into buying a WK SRT.

You can use the spacer that MrTosh used so you don't have to cut them. Check his build thread.
