Make sure you got properly seated jack stands and make sure you don't do it alone just in case the jeep comes down on ya!!! If you are doing the lift alone make sure someone is checking in on ya, and have fun with it. There's only one way to take things off and put them back on. Also get a manual.
Only use a impact wrench on bolts you can't break loose with your Armstrong or else you might break off bolt heads. People always break off the rear shock bolts, if that happens then drill them out by drilling clockwise about half the length of the bolt and then back counterclockwise and should loosen it.
I too just ordered my OME lift and am waiting for delivery. I have never installed a lift on an IFS vehicle, but have done many wranglers, cherokees, etc.
I have done a fair bit of research and everything looks to be pretty simple. There are several write-ups on how to install lifts on this boards as well as the other WK boards.
The back is easy. Shouldn't take too long but I have read that many had issue with the rear trackbar clearance. I plan on just unbolting it and then realigning it with a ratchet strap. Simple.
The front has a few stubborn bolts depending on age and how rusty your undercarriage is. Just use some PB blaster a couple days leading up to the install to help. A strut compressor is a must to disassemble the struts.
Good luck with your install. Post some pictures when you get done!
