I'm considering buying the OME springs. Couple questions:
Can I just buy the springs or do I need to buy the kits with their shocks? I have already upgraded my shocks to Ranchos RSX which are stock length. But have had no problems with my RK kit.
And do they really give you 3" of lift? I've read they do but advertise as 2"
I'm really just considering because I wanna fit some 305's under the Jeep!
I bet you could fit 305's under there with the OME lift and alot of trimming. Some members have run 295/70's on a 2" lift, so I think its possible with the right wheel setup as well.
I'm assuming I would just have to run 1.5" wheel spacers, trim the bolt, and fold the pinch.
I mean, I have run 295's before on these wheels with no lift and no spacers, with no rubbing. I think as long as I do what I mentioned earlier I should be fine. I hope.
I have BFG ATs I think they are on AEV wheel they rub some little.
My 265/70/17 AT's specs I think are
10.7" wide on 8" rim & 31.8" tall.
I agree you should be fine, did not realize we were talking 22" wheels!!!
I need to see pictures of your set up when your done!!
Sounds sick, now you got me interested in the OME springs. if I were to get OME spring set, would I still be able to use my 2" Daystar poly lift and then hopefully get like a 5" lift????? I believe I would still need longer shocks. I already want it bigger, badder, and easier to run over stuff. hahaha
