On board air for the trails.

Every wheeler knows that your vehicle will perform much better by deflating your tires to the appropriate psi, but once you are done wheeling for the day, you need to fill back up for the ride home.
So, i got tired of waiting on a long line of wheelers airing up and decided to install my own system! i bought a P/N 10005 Viair on board air system that runs up to 150 psi, i run my air horns from it as well, very well built system and has a very nice powder coat finish.
I highly recommend this system to anyone, lifted or dropped, you will find many uses for it.

Please excuse my dirty bottom Joe!!

That a nice little system,I've seen people go as far as wiring and plumbing it with the engine bay.

Re: On board air for the trails.

Is your setup under the jeep like that going to be too vulnerable to the elements and damage? Mud and snow seem to get every where.

Re: On board air for the trails.

The kit was $240 from some dude on Ebay ( i jumped on that! LOL) the horns were free since my dad works in a trucking yard.
I think the Viair sells for $450 or so.

Re: On board air for the trails.

my setup cost me $400 for the Viair 450c OBA system, then i found the horns for $100, they were kleinn 220s
kleinns on ebay

i had a loud setup. i loved it, i had a button shift knob on my 5spd that i hooked the button up for the horns.
