I saw a WJ with a police/state trooper style push bar today. I loved the way it looked and id love to get one for my WK. Does anyone know a good place to get a push bar like this for my WK? I dont want some POS gonna rust in a year job and no chrome job. Sorry Paul but i dont like your style.

This is what i want.

Thats not a bad setup there from 4x. I just want one that will actually take a hit. the standard tube style usually are for looks only where as the police style like the one above are designed to take a hit and be used. The 4x one can also take some abuse. I am gonna keep doing my research and see what i like.

that 4x one looks like it would take a decent hit..(i used to build things like that) i think if you hit something hard enough for it to fail you would have more issues then a bump in the bumper

i was thinking just getting the 4x mid with side tubes, and no grill hoop. paint to match of course

whats yours weighing in at? it is much nicer then most i have seen.

i don't wheel enough (at least right now) to justify adding any more weight to front of my vehicle. I just added the 4xGuard rocker skids and will be adding the belly, front and rear skids 1 at a time next year.

I really wish AEV would produce that effin hidden winch mount already. I don't see it happening ever

AEV really does not seem like they are putting much effort in to making anything for the WK specifically. I would love to see a nice rear bumper with tire carrier done. I love swing out tire carriers.

It would be hard to weigh his as its the front X member now and part of the tuck. LOL IMHO, after seeing his build i would say its prolly no more then an extra 125 lbs with he winch.

I probably added 50-60 lbs with the bumper. Some day I may actually get around to installing the 65 lb winch! (I spent all summer on house remodeling projects, I haven't even gone 'wheeling since GSW.)

I tell ya, Trango could make it happen for you - there's very little difference between a universal winch plate and the plate that AEV created. You just need to add the support wings going to the subframe.

I'm in the same situation w/ the house and i too have no been out since GSNE. The house is the reason my CJ is still getting no attention as well.

Whats this Trango you speak of? My concern w/ the winch plate is integration w/ the airbags. I thought that was 1 of AEV's issues
