Rattle in rear passenger suspension

Installed 2" RC lift and after i picked up a rattle (metal on metal sound) in the rear passenger suspension or so it sounds. Not always on smooth road mostly on rough and bump roads. It was double checked for being all tightened up. I've yet to be able to crawl under it with the cold and snow and only having apartment parking lot to work with. Thinking it maybe a sway bar bushing. Thanks for any help

Re: Rattle in rear passenger suspension

It's either your shocks aren't tight enough or your sway bar links.

Re: Rattle in rear passenger suspension

fyi, I just replaced some endlinks on a compass... the only reason I narrowed the sound to them was A) how the noise was happening, flexing the sway bar prompted rattles shifting the wheel left and right quickly caused it to clunk, and B) chassis ears... even when removed I couldnt tell by my hands moving the joints that they were failed, but the front end of the car sounded like it was falling off when hitting bumps.

You may feel a sloppy joint on the endlink, but you may need to unbolt them and drive it to see if the noise goes away to eliminate or condem them.
