Rought Country lift with Rusty's strut plate spacers

This is just a mere curiosity as I just recently got the RC BB lift...

I saw people talking about placing the strut plate spacers on top of the OME springs with no issues, but what was done for the rear? I assume if you have a 3 inch lift you don't want to go higher than that...
This also made me wonder if people have put the strut plate spacers on top of BB lift spacers? assuming that would be under 3 inches of total lift still. But again if someone were to do this (assuming it has been done with any success) what would they do about the rear? I have ran across mentions of monroe load levelers, but are there other options such as half inch or 1 inch poly spacers?

23 inch hub-fender height seems to be the crucial point which considering the OME HD gives about 22 inch hub-fender height (so I have read) even a 1 inch spacer on top of the RC bb spacer would be under 23 inches still. I am just speculating for the distant future (supposedly) as I do not want to go to superlift and much bigger tires with my 3.7, and would like to avoid spending 700 for a 1 inch difference. (so basically I am cheap or as I like to say "cost effective")

Re: Rought Country lift with Rusty's strut plate spacers

I don't think I'd stack a spacer on top of another spacer in the front. If you wanted the strut spacer just buy the front OME set up and the rustys strut spacers. Just my .02

Re: Rought Country lift with Rusty's strut plate spacers

Ya I am not going to spend 700 bucks let alone 450 for less than an inch more of clearance. I will be sticking with what I have until I need new struts and shocks. it was just a thought for the future.

Re: Rought Country lift with Rusty's strut plate spacers

Yes I do have bilsteins so it is really 2 3/8 give or take. Was just looking at half an inch. I''l probably just suck it up and get the springs for OME at minimum in the future and then later swap the shocks out.

Re: Rought Country lift with Rusty's strut plate spacers

Throw some Monroe load levelers in the rear they boost up the rear a lot with a BB. and they are only 100$ a pair on amazon!

Re: Rought Country lift with Rusty's strut plate spacers

Well I would do that, but I want the front to go up a bit as well so it is level.

Re: Rought Country lift with Rusty's strut plate spacers

well given that you have a 3.7, look for a set of HEMI coils from a WK or a XK. should give the front a boost and stiffen the front up a bit along with the load levelers in the rear.
