I'm running 265/65/18 goodyear adventure at's which are nearly 32's... The largest I've seen on her without modifications are 275/65/18

Re: RRO leveling kit write up *how to*

alludc, Has anyone told you that the front would eventually sit down a little so it's not higher than the rear?
For what you, and many others, have described is the reason I haven't gotten the RRO leveling kit.

Re: RRO leveling kit write up *how to*

RRO said it would. But it's been 1000 miles including offroad trails. I'm adding tj wrangler 3/4 spacers in the rear soon.

Just checking to see if you've installed the TJ spacers yet? Can't wait to see pics and hear what the new measurements are!

Re: RRO leveling kit write up *how to*

Hey all, thought I would add some info on a couple of differences that I came across on the install on my 2014 GC Limited 4x4.

First of all, THANK YOU TonyTJ for this writeup, it was a HUGE help during the install.

1. On the sway bar, the 6mm socket was an 8mm for me.
2. On the strut mount, the 23mm bot was a 24mm for me.

The only additional tool that I used was a set of ratchet straps. These really helped make fine adjustments and support some weight as I working through the install. I performed the install by myself and this really helped.

Final note, after the install my front fender was about an inch higher than the rear. I was afraid I did something wrong. BUT after a couple of days it settled down to perfectly level. SO, just as with some of the more difficult parts of the install, patience is a MUST.

Thanks again!!!

I dunno wtf that's all about; maybe they were frustrated with the install or something but I'm hoping that the sway bars aren't now operating under extra stress that will cause it to break now that the spacers are on...... Having said all that, it looks great and drives normally. I like the look and tell while driving the front end is definitely up higher giving me that 'lifted' feeling.... Immediately afterwards, i went o Discount Tire and got my new 17' rims and 265/17/70 General Grabber AT's mounted and it looks friggin' sweet now

Recommend getting bwoodies extended sway bar links. They're not ball joint, but they're are like 3 times thicker than the stocks

Re: RRO leveling kit write up *how to*

Tried to install the levelling kit today on my 2014 Limited and failed big time. My buddy (who has been a Jeep mechanic for a number of years now) and I were unable to get the strut reconnected to the lower control arm because the bottom of the spring wouldn't clear the vehicle frame! I'm not sure if we did something wrong during the installation, but I didn't notice any way around this! Maybe someone can help me out?
