Good write up. Going to reattempt here soon, and disconnect the whole lca. Started on the driver side last week got the strut out, but knew I wasnt going to get it back in with the extra length.

Thanks OP for the write up. Came in handy with my installation this past weekend.

Just and heads up for others, like previously mentioned by another member, on my '15 the sway bar nut was an 8mm and the lower strut mount bolt was a 24mm.

Re: RRO leveling kit write up *how to*

I just want to add I approached the install a little differently and had the lift complete in just under a couple of hours by myself. Granted I have electric impacts that assist in quick assembly and disassembly.

I started out by removing the brake calipers to reduce weight of the spindles and the reduce possibility of stretching the abs sensor lines.

I removed the cv joint nuts so I could slide the axle out of the hubs, this gave me the ability to get more articulation out of the axles to get the struts over them.

Last instead of messing with the lower control arm, I just removed the upper ball joint and dropped the entire lower arm and spindle assembly (tie rod and sway bar disconnected). Doing this let me swing everything out of the way of the strut.

I used a ratchet strap to completely drop the lower control arm to have it out of the way.
