for me id like to be able use the hitch to run 1 of those "trays", for lack of a better word, just to be able to take more stuff with me on trips. use for coolers, fresh water containers, and what not. Especially for beach trips when i tend to over pack.

i have 2 kids and the crap that comes with them is ridiculous.

I guess i could swap it out once i get where i am going. not like i would wheel w/ that attached.

idk - i guess if i knew the cost i could weigh the pros and cons

there is just more you can do w/ the hitch receiver if you don't have to use it for recovery

Sometimes your hitch reciever is occupied, you broke your reciever pin, your getting pulled from an angle that will damage the jeep if pulled from the center not the side....

...D-Rings and snatch blocks are always over looked on a lot of rigs, but you can never have too many of either.

As far as costs go I'd spend another $50 to make less of a chance of getting dammage to my rig, or being stuck. D-Rings don't cost much and neither do the mounts.

Re: Saguaro rear bumper ideas

if you are figuring on cost, you are probably looking at a couple square inches of either 1" steel or several pieces of smaller gauge material cut and welded together for D-ring mounts which usually costs less than $5 in materials, the difference in adding them or not is probably very insignificant, I prefer to have them than not for the reasons of being pulled from the side and such

Re: Saguaro rear bumper ideas

Saguaro just posted this;

"Current build list includes WK rear bumper/tire carrier, WK roof rack, WK rock sliders, JK fender flares and JK grille guard just to name a few. No dates yet as to when these will be available but we will keep you updated here!"

Re: Saguaro rear bumper ideas

If they are coming out with a rear tire carrier, a really cool item to have available would be an auxiliary fuel tank that goes in the factory spare area. nine
