Saguaro rear tire carrier

On Saguaros facebook they said

"Just for clarification, we are building a complete replacement rear bumper and tire carrier that should be in production in the next 2-3 weeks. The factory bumper tire carrier would be a tire carrier that would work with your factory plastic rear bumper. This would be lighter in weight and would allow you to continue to use your backup cameras and sensors because it would not require you to discard your factory rear bumper. The downside will be that it will not offer any protection while out on a trail. This will be great for those that can't fit a larger spare in the factory location, but don't do any serious off-roading."

They are having ppl vote on their next product. I think this is a great idea since some ppl like me want to have that rear tire carrier for the oversized tires but don't plan on trailing enough to buy the full bumper replacement they will be producing soon. While it would look badass to have the full bumper replacements front and back, the price and weight aren't as pleasing. I'm mostly a beach goer anywho, but go and be a fan and vote for the next product

I can't wait. Getting tired of a 32" spare in my cargo area especially days like today when we take the dogs to the beach.

Re: Saguaro rear tire carrier

265 70 17 here. I tried it before underneath and it didn't fit right maybe I wasn't straight and I was impatient. I'll tinker with it when I'm off thursday. I like the rear tire carrier regardless so I'm going to wind up getting it whether it fits or not

Re: Saguaro rear tire carrier

are you guys going to wait for the one that fits with the factory rear bumper or are you going to get the complete replacement tire carrier that will be ready in 2-3 weeks?

Re: Saguaro rear tire carrier

I'm hoping for the one for the stock bumper. I don't have the extra $1+k that I'm sure the full replacement will be plus I don't do much trail riding to actually make use of that kind of bumper/investment. Granted I'm sure it will look badass and I would if I could If it's not as expensive as I'm expecting, who knows.

Re: Saguaro rear tire carrier

I told the guys at Saguaro they should become vendors on here, so hopefully they will and we can get some kind of group buy/JG member deal

Re: Saguaro rear tire carrier

maybe, I wonder how many on here would have to buy it in order to get a discount as a group buy.
