Question Shock Boots?

do you guys recommend getting shock boots? i live in canada and i was thinking that with the winters here and all the salt on the road would it eat away at the shock? so my question is should i get boots or no?

hey fairchild, i also live in canada and have considered it. like you said we get some bad winters ( although last winter wasnt winter at all lol ) so it may be worth your while, but the only thing that would make me wanna get a boot would be to prevent any rocks from getting in there and doing some serious damage to the struts.

i myself personally hate the look of them, but color matching or just getting black wouldnt be so bad, its your call man, if you feel you need em do it, if not then dont, i have never used them and havent had any problems yet

Realize post quite a few months old. Just an FYI for those who may read this. Boots will protect the piston shaft but will also entrap moisture,grime which will cause corrosion.
