I know! I never want to "cheap-out" on our great Jeeps, but just explore possibly "cheaper" options, if they exist With the exception of MOAR LYTES - must spend moar to get moar!!.....muahahaha

JLew- You can always sell your OME. Plenty of new folks here are looking at smaller lifts. Sell it and buy the SL.

I know and i was thinking about that. Since we all love garage work, i know it's not too much of the effort, but i was hoping to add-on and not rip out and replace. Might have to think that way, but wanted to see the "stacker" experience vs the SL. Maybe if Acid/Omelet/Tosh have time to post, they made change my mind

If you don't want to cheap out on your WK, I would recommend against "Stacking" Stacking will just put more stress on your cv joints, ball joints, tie rods and limit the front end wheel drop which is what a IFS vehicle relies on during offroad.
I did my "Hybrid" 3 years ago and had it for a little under a year and I replaced everything 3 times before I had enough, not to mention that my front driver side wheel broke off because the ball joints were at their limit.

Do it right and save for the SL. Nothing comes close to the comfort of that lift kit.

So - i assume the stacking method is not good, due to the missing "relocation hardware"? Can you buy those components separately to achieve the same thing? There can't be that much of a difference besides angles, no?

By the time you are done purchasing all the relocation brackets, you will be a few hundred away from owning the SL kit. The OME is nice and gives you good up travel as well as decent down travel, decent because it takes away from your stock down travel as with the SL you don't lose or gain an inch in travel. I believe in stock form you have 4'' of up travel and 4'' down travel and with the SL you keep that same travel, the gain comes from moving everything down 4'' which is why the SL is superior. Hope that makes sense, I'm multitasking here! lol
