Tires r Bald... LIFT TIME!

I have an 06 GC crying for new tires

I was thinking the following for a lift:

265/70/17 Nitto Trail Grapplers
Front and Rear bilstein HD's
Daystar 2" lift
Moto Metal's 951
spidertrax spacers

edit: Just have to figure out if everything will work in collaboration or if i will need spacers or pinch weld mod or both.

Lift it, lift it! You won't be disappointed! I love the black wheel idea too.

Boychiks, I think I got around 6000 miles on my forteras, but I accelerate as fast as possible all the time, so my fronts are worse then my backtires. I really don't want to rotate them And would rather just go with my lift : )

with my setup, I'm wondering if i need any spacers??? like 1.5" any suggestions?

You'll def want the spacers. I have the 2.5" rough country lift w 1.5" spidertrax wheel spacers. You'll want the extra width and it rides much better w the spacers. Plus looks meaner! If you go up to 265 tires, you may want to do the pinch weld mod. I have a tiny amount of rubbing when I make hard lefts and I'm running 255s. Gl and can't wait to see the final product!

PS the Bilsteins are the sh!t!! You may also wanna look into getting a SRT rear sway bar. Thats my next mod. You don't "need" it but it'll improve the body roll. Hope this helps

Re: Tires r Bald... LIFT TIME!

Doesn't the daystar 2" lift already include spacers like spidertrax? it Includes Front Strut Spacers, Strut Plates and Rear Coil Spacers.

Am i getting confused?

No clue cuz I have the rough country lift. But if it says it "includes" spacers, then you're all good!!

I have the OME MD lift and 265/70/17 BFG KM2s and I needed the pinch weld mod.

Re: Tires r Bald... LIFT TIME!

Just ordered everything except bilsteins. I will wait to hold them off with the sway bar and such.

This should take about a week and half to get shipped and installed. I will place the finished product in my top post.

Hope it is not as hot and humid as it is Bmore, Maryland!
