Re: Trying to fit bigger tires on 2006 WK Limited

I haven't but I imagine that if you have access to a lift you're already steps ahead of everyone else.

Re: Trying to fit bigger tires on 2006 WK Limited

The WK 2" lift is the easiest suspension lift to install. The rear coils get spacers put under them and the front strut towers are unbolted from the body a steel spacer put in and then re assembled. Should only take a few hours. FYI its a suspension lift. There are no body lifts for any jeep accept wranglers. The newer jeeps, all cherokees, grand cherokees, libertys etc are all unibody vehicles w/ no separate frame.

You will also need rear shocks that are made for a 2" lift.

Try these two kits too.

Re: Trying to fit bigger tires on 2006 WK Limited

If you have the money for a good lift i will recommend OME 2'' MD, it is good on road and off-road. you will get a true 2'' lift with added articulation. Daystar, RRO, BDS, RC, RK etc all use the same shocks, you can always upgrade to Bilsteins but they are the same lenght as the stockers which defeat the purpose of lifting.
