WK 2" lift information needed

Ok before I get flamed for not using the search , I searched for at least two hours and could not find the answer I need.

I am looking to do the RC budget 2" lift.

http://www.jeep4x4center.com/jeep-li...n-lift-kit.htm

Will I need to get new shocks or springs?

Re: WK 2" lift information needed

Most guys get new shocks because the pucks add too much strain on the stock shocks. Look at bilstein hd shocks and struts

Re: WK 2" lift information needed

If I am just using it as a Daily driver and not for off road use yet do you think I would be able to hold off on the shocks? How about the springs?

Sorry for all the newbie questions but my area of knowledge is in motorcycles mostly. Thanks for the response

Re: WK 2" lift information needed

I have the rc lift and everything else stock. The ride is just fine, a little harsh at times, but def nothing major. I just got new tires and it softened up a bit, I like the ride a lot now. I'll probably save up for bilstein's down the road, but for know it's just fine.

Re: WK 2" lift information needed

ive found the bilstiens for around 190 front and rear, its well worth it to wait or at least do the fronts you dont want to have to do the struts twice......just my .02 ......good luck

Your right about that, thing is, that I need new tires asap and my gf has a gift card for sears and I dont want to get stock size tires when I know I will want to lift the jeep 2". Its just good to know that I can go ahead and get the bigger tires with the budget lift and change the other parts as I get the funds for it
