Wk 2" lift> More Questions

New to the site. Ive been reading around about the lift with shocks option. Ive bought the RC 2 "lift and was going to put it on this weekend. but the more Im reading I keep hearing about alot of people putting the Bilstein shocks on too. Im looking for the biggest lift with the least amount of moeny. If i were to add new shocks would I get any extra height? I read somewhere someone said something about addind f-150 size shocks. any info on this? and if this is ture then adding height from the shocks doesn't hurt the steering or jeep in any form? txs

Shocks will not give you any height. Only coils or spacers will do that

I think the F-150 shocks you're thinking of are the Monroe Load Levelers for the rear. From what I have read people have gotten some height from them but they were putting them on with OME springs or BB lifts. Also, they had to use washers to help with fitment. I don't know much more than that, but you might try searching for the Monroe stuff. as Kreso stated, shocks wont get you height, except for the 3/8" from the Bilsteins.

Crestwood1001 is an unknown quantity at this point
Kreso your completely wrong, the bilsteins give 3/8th of an inch. I have the RC with the bilsteins and am gonna switch the rear bilsteins for the f-150 to rake the rear a bit cause I don't like the levelness of the rc.
