Was wondering the same thing but I heard it only gives you about 2 inches of lift.

Re: WK lifts- OME vs. 2.25 RR

There's a guy near to me that's selling his "OME 2" kit".

I'm assuming these springs lift the full 2" or are these ones that some guys are saying only get 1.5"?

Also, are the springs suitable for factory spring perches or do they require the OME shocks to fit properly? I currently run Bilsteins from Kolak.............. I'm wanting to buy just his springs if I can?

Yea I don't understand. Rivercity came down here and I met up with him for a bit at the carwash and we noticed that his sat a little lower than mine and he has the RK 3.5" kit. So Idk

Re: WK lifts- OME vs. 2.25 RR

i am going to make an attempt at narrowing things down for everyone...

RRO, X-Factor, Daystar...all of those spacer lifts are going to give you the same results. they will do the job for most people but essentially they are for looks and nothing more. yes bilsteins will make it a much better ride but they do that whether you are lifted or not, plus that's a lot of cash to spend on shocks that are still stock length.

OME gives you more lift than any of the spacer lifts even if it is advertised as a 1.5" kit. The springs are longer and the shocks/struts are longer giving you much more up and down travel while keeping a nice smooth ride.

the 4 inch lifts are clearly a whole new ball game and im sure i don't need to explain anything about them. they are sweet, they look good, they are expensive. and most of us don't need them because we don't wheel our jeeps like the guys that do have them.

no, they are still stock length, the ome springs are 2 inches longer than stock. you could try it, but even if it works i don't see it lasting long at all.
