seems like it does pretty good, and he has a second video he mad 8 months later and they looked pretty good... but yeah i dont want my rim half black, half stock... definatly wouldnt get any!!!!! prolly get more of the action!! hahahaha
You're good on the plastidip - i have mine done on the rims, pillars and roof. Usually I just tell the guys to go light on it and its fine. The stuff holds up unbelievably well. I've taken it through the car wash 2 or 3 times with no problems really. Granted if you go every week it might be a different story, but that's why mine's silver and not black!

Arg! Now I'm even more confused than before. I'm lifting my 2wd for looks, ground clearance, fir those hunting trails, bigger wheels, and rarely to get it muddy. I was going to do full OME at first, then I was like I can do the OME springs and the bilstiens from Kolak. Then with help from all of you I decided the RRO budget lift would be more than enough lift for me. Now I don't know again! Dang you all lol!

Re: WK lifts- OME vs. 2.25 RR

here is my wk with ome hd installed...makes my 32" tires look tiny!

i got every bit of 3+ inches out of it. left my daystar spacers in the rear to keep it raked a little bit.

those springs are beefy and hard to work with, i wouldnt want to be swapping out the struts after already installing it. (for those considering that cheaper version of the lift)

So you have the OME springs and struts/shocks with the 2inch daystar BB lift. Or do you have Bilstein strut and shock.

Re: WK lifts- OME vs. 2.25 RR

i have the full OME HD lift, springs, shocks, struts...and left my daystar poly spacers in the rear only on top of the ome springs.

Re: WK lifts- OME vs. 2.25 RR

i got about 3 up front with just the ome struts/springs. about 4 in the rear because of the spacers on top. it would sit level without the spacers, i wanted a little rake which is why i left them in.

Re: WK lifts- OME vs. 2.25 RR

This just boggled my mind. I was set on a rc lift since ill be doing it for looks more than anything else. Got new shocks and struts Bilstein 4600s so time to lift her. im leaning towards RRO vs RC. The only problem I have is that the rc lift have mixed reviews with the front being taller than the rear.

Re: WK lifts- OME vs. 2.25 RR

FYI everyone...2016, Jeep added a bracket to the front strut that attaches to the sway bar. The OME lift kit will not work on the 2016....any kit that replaces the strut up front, will not work on the 2016.
