The current Jeep Grand Cherokee (WK2) is a luxury SUV that is surprisingly capable off-road, but if you're going to venture off-road, there are a few places that need additional protection.
Chief Products is doing our best to address these needs with our current line of products for the WK2.
WK2 Recovery Hook
WK2 Recovery Point
WK2 Sump Protection Plate
The WK2 Transmission Protection Plate
is one of our latest products, and it's designed to protect the bottom of the WK2s transmission while off-road.
We don't have any pricing yet, but we have finalised the design and begun moving towards production. I expect release in about 1 month while we organise everything that goes into a great customer experience (product photos, installation instructions, packaging, etc.).
In the meantime, I thought I'd provide some behind the scenes development information for the passionate WK2 owners of this forum. If you've got any questions, post them in this thread and I'll do my best to answer them.
I've included a few photos, but please keep in mind these are prototypes, not finished products.
