I made a harness for another guy that was plug-n-play, but it just had the resistors built-in to it. Basically, he wanted me to make the harness for him so that he didn't have to splice the resistors into his own wiring. But he still had to mount the resistors, which he did, just behind the taillight. If you want to replace the taillight bulbs with LED's on an '07+ Jeep, you MUST use load resistors.
The backup LED's are a direct replacement, nothing special required.
