- THANKS TO ALL! Im STAYING!!!!!

Alright guys, it is time I finally throw in the towel. With the new JG vendor rules coming out, I will be closing down "Lipschitz Custom Wiring".

First things first, I want to thank JeepGarage for their kindness in letting me be a vendor free of charge for so long. However, my heart just isn't in it enough anymore for me to justify spending money to keep this "business" alive. I will still be around, commenting and helping wherever I can. I have enjoyed my time as a vendor here at JG and thank you all for being my friends. And thanks for your support of "Lipschitz Custom Wiring" - makers of the ORIGINAL rear fog harness for SRT8 Grand Cherokees!

(I had to throw that last part in there cuz I'm an A-hole that way - EAT YOUR HEART OUT KEN RYDZ!!!)

Re: Closing Up Shop - THANKS TO ALL!

Sorry to lose you as a vendor, but I'm glad you're still sticking around the forum! ::

Now lets see some new pics of that badass SRT you've got

It is about time to do some photos, isn't it?

I'm currently working on the audio system. Believe it or not, I'm wanting more than the full Kicker upgrade can provide (even with the dual subs). I am working on a completely stealth two amplifier addition with no permanent modifications to the jeep.

Re: Closing Up Shop - THANKS TO ALL!

Nice! I've thought about subs but don't want to sacrifice the loss of space in the cargo area.

Have you seen the offerings from Mopar? The kicker ones? Their box is so tiny! Seriously, top depth is 4" and bottom depth is less than 10". It doesn't even stick out past the sunshade back there. Honest to god, there is like less than a 5% loss in cargo space. And that's for the dual setup like I have. THe single setup is half of that. And for the sound you get, well worth it. To 99% of people, the dual setup is more than they'll ever want. However, my '98 Niner has 3 JL 10's in it. I'm slightly embarrassed that my '98 Grand Cherokee has a better sound system in it than my SRT.

My plans are a Kicker ZX 750.1 amp for the subs and a Kicker ZX350.4 amp for the door speakers. The factory amp will be left in place and will power ONLY the dash tweeters. Original door speaker wiring will be utilized using a bypass harness so that no cutting/splicing is required.

The two factory subs will be replaced with L5's. This may require a 1/2" or 3/4" MDF spacer for mounting depth. Heck I even found terminal cups that will fit in place of the current ones. When finished, the only visible evidence that anything has been altered should be the L5 subs!

Re: Closing Up Shop - THANKS TO ALL!

No I haven't actually seen the kicker setup in person. Maybe i'll stop by the dealer sometime and see if they have any jeeps on the lot with the kicker upgrade.
