BWoody Performance Jeep Cherokee WK2 online intake instructions

Bwoody Performance Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2 Velocity Plus Short Ram Intake
1. Remove Entire OEM intake assembly including the snorkle portion from the front of the vehicle (snorkle is held in by 3 plastic push pins under the rubber weather stripping)
2. Remove the OEM IAT sensor from the OEM intake (using a pair of pliars gently turn counter clockwise turn then pull straight out)
3. As shown in the picture below using a small screw driver pull out the brown plastic harness tie from the front of the drivers side cylinder head, this wil expose a threaded hole that is used to attach the Bwoody Velocity Plus Intake.

8. Install the OEM IAT sensor into the bwoody intake. Plug Back into the OEM harness, depending on how much slack you have you may have to unplug the OEM throttle body and re-route the wiring to give enough play to plug in.
9. Install the rubber elbow to the intake and to the throttle body with the supplied hose clamps, adjust accordingly, then tighten the bolt.
10. Using the supplied rubber hose attach to the intake and the crank case vent tube on the intake manifold. (you may have to cut to length).
11. Re-install the engine cover, you may have to trim some of the plastic for clearance.
12. Finished product

Velocity Plus = freakin awesome. Love the details such as the metal support in the rubber gasket that previously ran atop the snorkle. Should we use a blue locktite or something else on the intake mount bolt?

Thanks a ton Mike and BWoody. Looking forward to letting the big dog eat, haven't given the Hemi any love as of yet.

Re: BWoody Performance Jeep Cherokee WK2 online intake instructions

I didn't get the small metal band for the insulation where the snorkle was.
