Let's just say, hypothetically, if someone had installed the BWoody (WK2) links and wanted to return the suspension to stock, what would be recommended as bushing inserts to return the drilled-out lower control arms to the original dimensions?

I've found some steel bushings that seem to be (nominally) the correct size (1/2" O.D., 3/8" I.D.), and the same in bronze. They'll need a bit of work, but should do the trick. Question is more about the most suitable material.

I installed the links, paying attention to ALL of the instructions. For the first couple of days the Jeep felt great. . . then the ride quality started to deteriorate. Body sway was reduced, but the overall "tightness" and solidity of the ride was compromised.

I then had the work checked by guys who do this for a living, and replaced some of the bushings that had become torn up as reported earlier. Alignments looked good, everything was lubed up, bolts re-torqued to spec. Again, the ride was great for a couple of days, then started to soften up again.

The small amount of stock body roll is an acceptable trade-off (for me) in order to get the more solid feel back to the suspension. YMMV.

Any thoughts out there to share? I wish I could be counted as one of the successful owners of this mod, but it seems I am not going to be happy with this going forward. I really want to return everything to stock, and am seeking any advice possible.
